A Message From Our Pastors
FAQs
-
Legacy Sunday is the day we give our annual Legacy Offering that goes above and beyond our tithe to accelerate the vision God has given Newlands to make an eternal impact. Together, we sow seeds that will make a Kingdom impact for generations to come because a legacy isn’t simply what we leave behind – it’s what we set in motion.
-
Your gift will accelerate Newlands’ vision to help people Know God, Belong to Family, Discover Purpose, and Build the Kingdom in our community, nation, and around the world.
-
The goal is 100% participation from our Newlands family this December. The Legacy offering isn’t about the size of our gift, but rather the heart behind it. We give this special offering not out of pressure, but out of affection for and gratitude to God for all He has done for us.
“Moreover, because I have set my affection on the house of my God, I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house, my own special treasure of gold and silver.” -1 Chronicles 29:3 (NKJV)
-
Pray about how God is asking you to participate in the Legacy Offering. As you hear from Him, believe Him in faith and make a plan to give, then step out in obedience and participate on Legacy Sunday, December 14.

An Invitation…
Dear Newlands Family,
Christmas is just around the corner, and as you may know, the end of the year is also a season of generosity for our Newlands family. Each year on Legacy Sunday (Dec. 14), we have an opportunity to accelerate the vision God has given Newlands to make an eternal impact through our special Legacy Offering. Together, we sow seeds that will make a Kingdom impact for generations to come because a legacy isn’t simply what we leave behind – it’s also what we set in motion.
In 2025 alone, we’ve seen over 1,200 people give their lives to Jesus in one of our services. Over 500 Newlands family members have been the tangible hands and feet of Jesus to our neighbors near and far through Newlands Global. And, thanks to God’s grace and your generosity, we launched our Newlands Fulshear location on Easter, and so far, over 45 Fulshear neighbors have given their lives to the Lord!
But now we have even more opportunities to touch the lives of people who are hurting and reach those who have never heard the name of Jesus. That’s why I’m asking you to pray and participate in this year’s Legacy Offering. I’m asking all of us to give over and above our regular giving to accelerate Newlands’ vision to help people Know God, Belong to Family, Discover Purpose, and Build the Kingdom in our community, nation, and around the world.
This special offering isn’t about meeting a need of the church, nor is it about the size of the gift, but rather the heart behind it. We give this special gift out of affection for and gratitude to God for all He has done for us. In fact, there is no financial goal for the Legacy Offering, just a 100% participation goal. So I encourage you, please be praying. Ask God what you should do, and then step out in faith to do what he leads you to.
This year’s Legacy Offering will be on Sunday, December 14. You can give online through the Newlands App, at newlandschurch.com, or by texting GIVEONLINE to 94000 and selecting the “Legacy Offering” fund. You can also give at the church by tapping the disc on the seatback in front of you, or at the offering boxes located at the back of the Auditorium by writing “Legacy Offering” on your giving envelope. If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact us at info@newlandschurch.com.
I love you, am praying for you, and am so thankful for you. The best is yet to come!
